Litter is bigger problem in Summit than dog doo

Janet Wolfson - Silverthorne

Rarely, when I walk my dogs, do I bother to take along a “pick-up bag.” Why? Because we have a bigger problem here in Summit County than dog doo-doo – regular old trash.

It usually takes me less than a minute to find a discarded cup, bag, wrapper, etc. to pick up a “mess.” So, basically, I’m tired of the “pick up after your dog” letters.

Whether this is your permanent home or not – don’t litter! Better yet, next time stop and pick up that piece of trash. You’ll make our home a nicer place to be.
