Litter is bigger problem than dogs

We are sick and tired of hearing only about dog poop. Every day, I take my dogs (Yes, we clean up after them) for a walk and pick up garbage. Today, it was a bag full of beer cans by the river. We could of easily filled two garbage bags by the Pavilion. How much of it is generated by the construction work going on there? How much of it ends up in the Blue River? I shudder thinking about it. Why are people obsessed about dog poop, which does eventually decompose, whereas plastic and aluminium do not, or at least not for hundreds of years. My mom is a fourth generation Coloradoan and is always reminicing about how clean Colorado used to be. So let’s worry about bigger things.
