The “Water in the West” series will be held again this year with informational talks about critical water issues impacting the region around Summit County, according to a news release.

The event will be held at Highside Brewing in Frisco on the third Wednesday of each month from June through September. It is put on by High Country Conservation Center, the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, the Blue River Watershed Group and the Friends of the Lower Blue River.

The first event in the series will be held June 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Taylor Winchell, who is involved in Denver Water’s climate adaptation and water resource planning, will lead a discussion around the impacts of climate change on water utility.
