Local group starts monthly jam session for string instrument musicians
Local ukulele group, SumUkes, is organizing a new opportunity for string musicians in Summit County to get together and jam once a month at the Highside Brewing in Frisco. Anyone who plays guitar, ukulele, banjo, fiddle, mandolin or any other string instrument is invited to meet the second Monday of every month. The first session kicked off March 24.
Song charts will be available on TVs located in the room, and a leader with professional experience will keep the group together. This is a free event which lasts from 4-7 p.m. For more information on future dates, visit TinyUrl.com/4hdafc9v.
