Allied Chiropractic installs pressurized chamber that infuses cells with oxygen, aids in recovery
Allied Chiropractic in Breckenridge expanded its services and now has a hyperbaric chamber, a machine that aids in infusing cells and muscles with oxygen using increased air pressure.
The business has been in operation for about 21 years. Though owner Dr. Stephen Hebert said the business currently does not have massage services, which it has offered in the past, he said it did recently add to its offerings with a hyperbaric chamber. Hebert said this service can help speed up athlete recovery and helps with altitude sickness and brain injuries like concussions.
Hebert said a single session lasts about 75 minutes. A first-time visit requires an exam and costs about $125. After that, clients can purchase a five-pack punch pass, which brings the cost down to about $100 per session. Appointments are required, and the service begins the week of Sunday, March 27.
Allied Chiropractic is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The business is at 324-2 N. Main St. in Breckenridge. For more information, visit ChiropractorBreckenridge.com.
