The Colorado ski areas that typically open first to skiers and snowboarders announced their ski pass prices for the 2015-16 season.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area’s 2015-16 Season Pass costs $299 for adults (ages 19+), $219 for youth (ages 15-18) and $159 for children (ages 6-14; children 5 and younger ski free).

Those who pay for their pass in full can use it to ski or ride through the end of this season and all of next with no blackout dates.

A-Basin season pass holders receive three days at Taos Ski Valley in Taos, New Mexico, and one free unguided day at Silverton Mountain in Colorado. Full season pass holders also receive membership in the A-Basin Club as well as on-mountain discounts in dining, retail and lessons and unlimited discounted single-day lift tickets for friends and family.

Skiers and riders can pay $49 through the ski area’s tentative closing day of June 7 to lock in the lowest price and pay the balance in September.

A-Basin also released its pass for unlimited riding for the remainder of the spring. The Spring ‘15 Pass is $199 for adults (ages 19+), $139 for youth (ages 15-18), and $119 for children (ages 6-14).

For those who want to ski at A-Basin for three days before this season ends, the ski area offers its Elevation 3 Pass for $139.

At Loveland Ski Area, anyone who purchases 2015-16 season pass can use the pass there to ski for the remainder of this season. Loveland plans to close May 3.

Loveland season pass holders receive three days each at Crested Butte, Purgatory, Monarch Mountain and Powderhorn Mountain Resort as well as discounts on lift tickets for family and friends, lessons, rentals, food and retail purchases.

Loveland’s season passes cost $379 for adults, $269 for young adults (ages 15-22), $169 for children (ages 6-14), $89 for seniors (ages 70 and up) and children 5 and younger ski free.
