In a ceremony so well attended that some people couldn’t fit inside the building, the Women’s Resource Center in Dillon welcomed volunteers, board members and clergy from Saint Mary’s and Our Lady of Peace for a Friday blessing of a new ultrasound machine at the center, funding for which was raised by the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic-based group that aims to end abortions. During the ceremony, the center’s former director Lisa Souba, who made the trip from Bozeman, Montana, for the event, said she was so excited she had goose bumps. “The Lord is shining on us today,” she told the crowd. “I couldn’t be more proud of your perseverance because there have been a lot of obstacles.”
