Breckenridge announces Halloween road closures
The Breckenridge Police Department announced a number of Halloween road closures in neighborhoods around town this year, with hopes of creating a safer and more enjoyable environment for trick or treating.
Halloween closures in Breckenridge’s Historic District date back over 30 years, and previous resident surveys affirm the support for the tradition, according to a release from the Breckenridge PD.
Wolf Lyon Road and Bridge Street in the Wellington neighborhood will be closed from 4-8 p.m. at the request of the Wellington Neighborhood Association. High Street and Harris Street, along with related side streets in the Historic District of Breckenridge will also be closed from 4-8 p.m.
For more information on Halloween closures, email Sgt. Bryan Ridge at BryanR@townofbreckenridge.com, or call at 970-547-3106.
