Breckenridge attorney to hold informational session on snow plow contractor liability
Meredith A. Quinlivan, an attorney with Breckenridge law firm West Brown Huntley P.C., will be holding an informational session on recent legislative changes to snow removal liability. The “Snow Removal Service Liability Act” was signed into law back in August. The law removed indemnity requirements in snow removal contracts that required property owners or contractors to unfairly impose liability on the other, as well as tweaking insurance requirements. Quinlivan will give a primer about the changes and answer questions from interested contractors, property owners, condo and homeowners associations on Nov. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mount Royal Room, in the Summit County Commons building at 37 Peak One Drive in Frisco. For more information, contact Meredith Quinlivan at (970) 453-2926 or e-mail Meredith@BreckLaw.com. — Deepan Dutta
