Breckenridge Grand Vacations is taking applications for its spring 2019 grant cycle before the midnight April 1 deadline to submit them.

The grants program is managed by the company’s philanthropic wing, BGV Gives, which was created to support nonprofits operating in Summit and Park counties through fundraising, sponsorships, grants, volunteering and in-kind donations, according to the company.

The grants are primarily focused on health, human services and education and will be awarded between May and June. Breckenridge Grand Vacations offers grants during two annual cycles, and last spring the company doled out $295,250 for the cycle.

“Giving back to Summit and surrounding communities has always been a cornerstone of Breckenridge Grand Vacations’ mission,” said BGV’s CEO and developer Mike Dudick in a news release. “We are both humbled and honored to support local nonprofit organizations who offer programs and services that enrich and provide essential services for our residents and guests.”

Applicants should review the BGV Gives’ funding priorities before applying. For more, go to BGVGives.org, email BGV Gives program manager Deb Edwards at dedwards@breckgv.com or call her at 970-547-8748.
