Breckenridge Ski Patrol hosts free avalanche lecture

The Breckenridge Ski Patrol is hosting this week its Public Avalanche Lecture Series.

The free event takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 in the Double Tree Hotel ballroom. Pizza will be provided and the event also will feature a cash bar.

Among some of the topics for the evening are: the avalanche problem, how it’s made, opening a ski area for the season and a Peak 6 question-and-answer session.
