Colorado offices closed for Veterans Day
In observance of Veterans Day, Gov. John Hickenlooper’s office announced many state agencies would be closed Monday.
State driver’s license offices, the Department of Public Health and Environment’s vital records office and executive branch departments are among the facilities closed.
However, History Colorado and most of Colorado’s state parks will be open and staffed, including visitor centers and administrative offices. Colorado Parks and Wildlife also is offering all military men and women free admission to Colorado’s state parks on Veterans Day.
Colorado State Patrol troopers will be patrolling the highways and Colorado Department of Transportation crews will continue work on flood recovery efforts on the Front Range.
