Correction: Blue River has yet to take action on recreational marijuana

The story headlined “Blue River passes on marijuana sales for now” that ran in the Summit Daily News on July 18 incorrectly stated that the Blue Rive Board of Trustees had voted unanimously not to put a recreational marijuana excise tax on the town’s ballot in November. The board did in fact discuss the issue informally, but did not take any formal action on the issue at that meeting. They are expected to vote on the measure at their next meeting. The board meets the third Tuesday of the month at the Blue River town hall.
