Deadline to buy Vail Resorts season pass fast approaching
Skiers and riders have through Sunday, Nov. 23, to buy Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass, which includes unlimited access to three of Summit County’s four ski areas: Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Breckenridge Ski Resort and Keystone Resort.
After Sunday, the company will no longer sell its Epic, Epic Local, Epic 4-day and Epic 7-day passes. Last year, the deadline to buy those passes was also the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
“The epic pass is a phenomenal deal,” said Russ Pecoraro, company spokesman. “We’re happy to provide that value, but the catch is that you have to commit early.”
The 2014-15 season passes went on sale in March.
Local snowsports enthusiasts, regular visitors and vacationing families and friends will still have the option to buy Keystone A-Basin and Summit Value season passes, which provide access to fewer resorts for less money, as well as single- and multi-day lift tickets.

At Copper Mountain Resort, which is not included on the Epic Pass, spokeswoman Stephanie Sweeney said officials have yet to set a cutoff date for season passes.
The prices for Copper’s regular season pass and Secret! season pass, which is new this year and offers holders earlier and faster access to chairlifts, will increase after Monday, Nov. 24.
