Dillon Dam Road to close for scheduled maintenance Oct.15-19
Denver Water and the Summit County Road and Bridge Department will temporarily close the Dillon Dam Road in mid-October for scheduled maintenance work, according to a release from Denver Water.
The road will be closed starting on Oct. 15 at 8 a.m., and is expected to reopen around 5 p.m. on Oct. 19. There will be signed detour routes in place during the road closure.
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained, and the recreation path along Dillon Dam Road/County Road 7 will remain open during the work. The road closure has been coordinated with local emergency response agencies and Denver Water to ensure adequate emergency response during the project.
