After reviewing more than 60 applications, Dwell Summit Real Estate is giving Terrin and Chris Abell $5,000 in rent from the company’s inaugural Dwell Well Project giving initiative.

Rent will be paid directly to the Abells’ landlord for March, April and May. The judging panel that selected the Abells included Dwell Summit owner Tanya Delahoz, Lesley Mumford with Advocates for Victims of Assault and Matt Hanson with Alpine Bank.

Terrin Abell serves as the youth programs coordinator at Breckenridge Recreation Center and has been a Summit County resident since 2011. Also, Chris Abell is a ski patrol supervisor at Breckenridge Ski Resort and has lived in Summit County for 17 years.

“Terrin works tirelessly at the Breckenridge Recreation Center for our kids,” said Delahoz in a statement. “The changes she has made to the childcare program since assuming the position of youth programs coordinator are highly visible and so appreciated.”

Additionally, the Abells are long-time locals who are invested in Summit County.

“We’re thrilled to give back to them through the Dwell Well Project, and hope this rent break will help them put down permanent roots as Breckenridge homeowners in the near future,” Delahoz added.

Dwell Summit hopes to make the Dwell Well Project an annual giving initiative. For more about the program or how to contribut to the giving fund, go to DwellWellProject.com.
