WOLCOTT — A single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Interstate 70 killed two Front Range teenagers and injured two other children and an adult female.

The victims are two teenage girls: Autumn Garza and Hannaleigh Figajzewski. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The three people injured were transported to the Vail Valley Medical Center with moderate injuries, said Trooper Nate Reid, public information officer with the Colorado State Patrol.

The SUV in which they were riding was eastbound on I-70 between Eagle and Wolcott when it went off the road on the south side of the highway and rolled, Reid said.

The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
