St. Anthony Summit Medical honors nurses

In honor of Nurses Week May 6 through May 12, St. Anthony Summit Medical Center recognized its nursing staff, its board-certified nurses and those nominated for Nurse of the Year.

The hospital’s Nurse of the Year Awards for 2015 were bestowed on outstanding nurses who were nominated by their peers and embodied the hospital’s core values of compassion, stewardship, imagination and excellence.

Compassion: Pam Veeneman (Birth Place)

Stewardship: Corinne McGrew (Operating Room)

Imagination: Andrea Urie (Peak Care Unit – Recovery)

Excellence: Karen Kuffner (Emergency Department)
