Summit County Republican precinct caucus to be held on March 1

The Summit County Republican precinct caucus and assembly will be held Tuesday, March 1, when Republican candidates will be designated for the June 28 primary ballot.

The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Summit County Community and Senior Center, 83 Nancy’s Place in Frisco. According to a news release from the organization, attendees at the caucuses will elect delegates to the Republican Summit County Assembly, which is expected to begin at 7:15 p.m. after the precinct caucuses.

During the county assembly, 18 delegates will be elected to the GOP State Assembly, the Senate District 8 Assembly and the House District 13 Assembly on April 8-9 in Colorado Springs.

The release states that at these assemblies, delegates will choose who represents the Republican Party on the June 28 primary ballot and the general election ballot Nov. 8.
