Summit County, towns celebrate Snow Plow Jamboree on Saturday, Nov. 3

The public works departments of the Summit County Government, Summit County Rescue Group, Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Buffalo Mountain Metro District and the towns of Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco and Silverthorne are combining efforts this year for the 2018 Snow Plow Jamboreee. Bring the whole family and check out some of the equipment that helps to keep our roads safe during the winter. Kids will even be able to enter a raffle drawing for a chance to win prizes.

Activities will include a chance to check out all of the equipment up close, plow painting, decorate a hard hat, as well as indulging in cookies and hot chocolate.

The Snow Plow Jamboree is from 1 to 4 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Summit County Commons, 0037 Peak One Drive in Frisco. — Deepan Dutta
