Garage sale to benefit local 4-year-old cancer patient

A garage/yard sale fundraiser is being held at the former Frisco community center for Lolli Piper Hope on Friday, Sept. 19, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lolli is a 4-year-old girl who was recently diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a fast-spreading form of cancer usually affecting children. As a result of this disease, Lolli has had to have her left foot amputated to prevent the cancer from spreading further.

Trish Demogola has already raised over $2,600 by organizing a “Pump Gas for Lolli” event at the Frisco Loaf N’ Jug which she manages. Red, White and Blue Fire Rescue and Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue firefighters pumped gas and cleaned car windshields to raise money for Lolli’s medical expenses. Demogola is organizing this garage/yard sale in the hope of raising more resources for Lolli’s family and to express the community’s ongoing support.

For more information regarding the sale, please reach out to Trish Demogola at (970) 485-4874 or To make a donation benefitting Lolli’s recovery, please go to Any get well wishes may be mailed to Lolli Piper Hope at PO Box 5373, Dillon, CO 80435.
