People Under the Stairs, pictured here, and Revolutionary Rhythm will play a show at three20south in Breckenridge on Friday, April 18. Since forming in 1998, People Under the Stairs has become one of the most successful independent hip-hop artists ever. The group is self-managed, produced and engineered by it’s members, Thes One and Double K. Despite being unable to gain mainstream success, the duo has played more than a thousand sold-out shows and festivals all over the world, released seven albums, and they were even invited to make a guest appearance on and remix the main theme for “The Simpsons’ 20th Anniversary Special,” as well as appear on “Run’s House,” “Entourage” and the film “Street Dreams.” Doors open at 9 p.m., and tickets are $14 in advance or $16 at the door.
