21st Annual Frisco Colorado BBQ Challenge

11 a.m., Town of Frisco, 300 Main St. Colorado’s official BBQ cook off with more than 70 teams from across the country. Family-friendly entertainment like animal races, street entertainers, chef demonstrations, live music and more all conspire to create Frisco’s most signature event.

1 p.m. to sunset, Keystone Resort, 100 Dercum Square. Head to the Summit House to enjoy an evening of live music, drink and food specials and activities including horseshoes, corn hole, ladder ball, bocce ball and more. All activities are free and can be checked out through the Overlook Grill. Keystone’s Friday Afternoon Club is accessible via a scenic ride on the River Run Gondola. A foot passenger ticket or lift ticket is required to access the Gondola. Foot passenger tickets are available at the River Run Ticket Office and are free on Fridays from 3 p.m.-close. Domus Pacis Family Respite Food for a Family Friday

11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Summit Senior and Community Center, Highway 9. Help create meals to nourish families on a cancer journey by allowing them time to relax and enjoy their respite week in Summit County. Join us for the fun, meet some new friends and warm some tummies. Domus Pacis provides the recipes, ingredients and containers. You provide your time and a desire to make a difference. Donated ingridients greatfully accepted.
