Today’s top five things to do in Summit County

Stop by the Silverthorne Pavilion on Saturday, Dec. 7, for the annual Holiday Bazaar. With 30 vendors on site, the Holiday Bazaar is the perfect place to shop for that unique holiday gift. Santa will be on hand from 10:30 a.m. to noon and again from 1 to 2:30 p.m., taking gift requests and posing for photos (bring your camera if you’d like a picture with Santa). Other activities will include a performance by the Recreation Center Holiday Dancers at 10 a.m., as well as a performance by the Lake Dillon Theatre Company’s Merry Melodies at noon. Bonfire with Santa

Dillon, Dec. 6

5:30 p.m., Dillon Town Park, , Dillon. Meet at Dillon Town Park for a bonfire with marshmallow roasting, hot cocoa, caroling and of course a visit from Santa Claus! The North Face Park and Pipe Open

Copper Mountain Resort, Dec. 6-8

9 a.m., Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle, Copper Mountain. The North Face Park and Pipe Open Series returns to Copper Mountain’s Main Vein Superpipe Dec. 6-8. As one of the only open-format event series, amateurs have the opportunity to compete alongside top pros at this action packed event. Past athletes participating have included Tanner Hall, Jossi Wells, Maddie Bowman, Mike Riddle and more. Athletes will compete for the podium and both AFP and FIS NorAm Cup points.

Friends of the Library Book and Bake Sale

Noon, Main Branch – Summit County Library, 0037 County Road 1005, Frisco. The Summit County Friends of the Library Book & Bake sale is this weekend. Starting on Friday, Dec. 6, from 12-6 p.m., and on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Items in the sale include fiction and non-fiction books, cds, dvds and music. Summit High School Hockey
