Woodward Re-Mixed

All Day, Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle, Copper Mountain. Is it a grand re-opening or a re-grand opening? Whatever it is, come celebrate the remodel of Woodward at Copper, the opening of the Superpipe and the return of Santa Claus for the relighting of the holiday tree. What better way to work off that third (maybe even fourth) helping of Thanksgiving turkey at the Annual Yam Jam by jibbing Woodward at Copper’s progressive rails.

A-Basin loves kids days

Arapaho Basin, Dec. 1

Kids 14 and under Ski Free from Dec. 1-20 at Arapahoe Basin. Sat & Sun during Dec. 1 – 20 there will be a free hot chocolate bar just for kids. Magic Rob will be in the base area and A-Frame Lodge on Dec. 1, 7, 8, and 14 from 2-4 p.m. with a special magic show from 3:30-4 p.m.

Historic Walking Tour of Breck

11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Breckenridge Welcome Center, 203 South Main St., Breckenridge. Take a tour through Breckenridge’s Nationally Recognized Historic District with a local expert. Hot Soup

Frisco, Dec. 1

9 p.m., Barkley Ballroom, 610 Main Street, Frisco. Fronted by guitarist and shred meister Matt Flaherty, this band travels around Colorado, performing gigs and melting faces. Also on board in Hot Soup is bassist Brian Adams (DeadPhish Orchestra, Great American Taxi), Mirco Altenbach on Saxophone and Vocals and Ryan Sapp on drums.
