Recognize: Film
Breckenridge, Dec. 12
7 p.m., Breckenridge Riverwalk Center, 150 W. Adams Ave, Breckenridge. The iON Mountain Championships will host Recognize: Film. Guests of Recognize: Film, held at the Riverwalk Center on Thursday, Dec. 12, will enjoy video segments from the biggest films for the year, remastered just for the Dew Tour. Attendees will hear live commentary from the directors, producers and athletes involved in each movie. All proceeds for Recognize: Film will be donated to SOS Outreach. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the video screening from 7:30-9 p.m. Tickets to Recognize: Film are $5 (including fees) and can be purchased at http://www.dewtour.com.
Dew Tour Mountain Championships

9 a.m., Breckenridge Ski Resort, 1599 Saw Mill Run Road, Breckenridge. In its fifth year of showcasing the world’s top freeski and snowboard athletes competing in slopestyle and superpipe events, the Winter Dew Tour kicks off its nationwide tour once again at Breckenridge Ski Resort from Dec. 12-15, 2013 with the Dew Tour Mountain Championships. The Magic Beans

The Magic Beans are well known for going between folk, funk, rock and electronica in a single composition, original setlists each night, and with the added element of improvisation, there is always something special that can happen at every show. The group uses no pre-recorded tracks or samples in favor of a more traditional approach to music; original songwriting, diverse instrumentation, and continually pushing the musical envelope are what set the Magic Beans apart.
