Selasee & The Fafa Family will play a free show at Alma’s Only Bar on Friday, Dec. 27. Selasee, originally from West Africa, began his musical journey at a young age and eventually relocated to Boulder. He started a solo career in 2003 and eventually added players to his band, which resulted in the current act, Selasee & the Fafa Family. His current band blends West African and soul-pop influence, traditional and modern reggae beats and strong instrumentals to create its original sound. Comprised of seven players, the band is made up of Kit drum and bass, two guitars and two horns, plus vocals. The free show starts at 9:30 p.m. Visit for more information.
