Today’s top five things to do in Summit County

Three20south will host Juno What? on Saturday, Feb. 1. Denver’s Juno What? has been making booty-shaking electro-funk since its formation in 2008. The band consists of The Motet’s Joey Porter on keyboard and vocals, Tyron Hendrix (from Stevie Wonder’s touring band) on drums and Steve Watkins on keyboard, bass, vocals and samples. Juno What? has been touring regularly since 2009 and has shared the stage with funk prodigies such as The Pimps of Joytime and Lettuce. Book Club Tea

2 p.m., North Branch – Summit County Library, 651 Center Circle, Silverthorne. On Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. join Summit County readers for the annual 2014 Book Club Tea. Hosted by Summit County Library, the tea theme is the Chinese New Year and it’s the Year of the Horse. All book clubs and interested readers are invited to bring a finger food to share and title suggestions for local book clubs to read in the coming year. USASA Slopestyle Contest

Breckenridge, Feb. 1

10 a.m., Breckenridge Ski Resort, 1599 Saw Mill Run Rd., Breckenridge. On Saturday, Feb. 1, Breckenridge welcomes another USASA Rocky Mountain Series Slope Style contest for snowboarders in Lower Park Lane. The competition will start at 10:30 a.m. Registration will open at 8 a.m. and is located in the Peak 8 base area. This event will have a field size of approximately 180 competitors. Spectators will have a special viewing area in the venue in Park Lane which will be well signed. (970) 453-5000.

Sam Holt Band w/ Walsher Clemons

Frisco, Feb. 1

9 p.m., Barkley Ballroom, 610 Main St., Frisco. Sam Holt is well known for his on stage appearances with Widespread Panic and his national touring band Outformation. The Sam Holt Band formed in late 2011 after Holt relocated to Colorado and their live show is not to be missed. Walsher Clemons from Chicago opens at 9 p.m. Free Show.
