Ghostly Tales

Breckenridge, Feb. 13 & 14

7 p.m., The Dredge Restaurant, 180 W. Jefferson, Breckenridge. Explore the darker side of Breckenridge on this one and a half hour walking tour. You’ll hear stories of ghastly folk, deathly love, tragic endings, murder and mayhem. Meets at the Dredge Restaurant on the Northside Bridge. Breckenridge, Feb. 13 & 14

7:30 p.m., Backstage Theatre, 121 South Ridge St., Breckenridge. The 10th follows two recruits who join the 85th Regiment at Camp Hale in the Pando Valley for the purpose of becoming alpine soldiers. Thrown into a battalion already reeling from a disastrous mission in the Aleutian Islands, the new recruits must deal with a splintered division populated by an overly-educated army force of Dartmouth and Harvard graduates, oversize egos, cantankerous mule skinners, and the looming six week mission in the dead of winter known as ‘D Series.’ Fortitude, faith, and fighting spirit combine to create a brotherhood of soldiers never seen before – or since. Free Concert

Dillon, Feb. 13

7 p.m., Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church, 56 US Highway 6, Dillon. Colorado Christian University Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble, will be giving a free concert on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. at Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church in Dillon. The Summit Choral Society will be participating in this concert, as well. This concert is part of the spring band tour for the university. For questions call (970) 409-9651.

Cupcakes and Canvas

Keystone, Feb. 13

4:30 p.m., Warren Station Center for the Arts, 164 Ida Belle Drive, Keystone. Let your little one discover their inner Picasso! During this 2 hour class, your kids will be guided by our art teacher to create an artistic masterpiece while enjoying delicious cupcakes. Parents, you can enjoy yourselves too! Warren Station’s bar will be open during the event for you to enjoy an adult beverage. Class includes canvas, art supplies, cupcakes, and guidance.

Dillon, Feb. 13

9:30 p.m., Dillon Dam Brewery, 100 Little Dam St., Dillon. From Montezuma, CO comes this jammin’ four-piece band that co-creates new harmonic atmospheres for every show. Bluegrass, reggae, folk, Americana, jam, trance, Afro-Cuban and good old rock and roll.
