Utah resorts beckon out-of-state skiers

With four of America’s premier ski resorts on its doorstep, Salt Lake City is gearing up for another season featuring the “Greatest Snow on Earth.”

This winter, Alta Ski Area and Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort are offering a 50 percent discount on a one-day Alta/Snowbird lift ticket to anyone who arrives with an airline boarding pass to Salt Lake City International Airport from the previous 24 hours.

The Ski Salt Lake Super Pass is a ski pass good at all four resorts: Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude. Guests who ski three days at Alta, Brighton, Snowbird or Solitude with the Ski Salt Lake Super Pass and stay three nights at any participating Salt Lake City hotel receive one more day of skiing and another night’s lodging free.
