Winter Wildlands Alliance hosts 14th annual Backcountry Film Festival

The 14th annual Winter Wildlands Alliance Backcountry Film Festival will be coming to Dillon on Saturday, Jan. 19. All proceeds from the festival will benefit Friends of the Dillon Ranger District’s Youth SnowSchool program. The festival is a celebratory event for backcountry enthusiasts that features a film line-up full of snowy, cinematic adventure.

The festival will take place at Wilderness Sports, 701 E. Anemone Trail in Dillon. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the screening begins at 7:15. Snacks will be provided and Angry James Brewery beer will be available for purchase. All attendees will have the chance to win door prizes and Weston Backcountry will be conducting a splitboard challenge during intermission. Admission is $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the show. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Bit.ly/FDRDBFF or at the door if tickets remain available.
