Looking for the best cleaning service in Summit County? Look no further than Summit Executive Cleaning, readers say.
Back in 2016, Amy Franklin found herself at a crossroads. After owning a myriad of businesses in Summit County since 2005, Franklin went through a divorce in 2016, leading her to have the desire to reinvent herself.
“Basically I came up with the idea to start a cleaning business because I wanted to work with women,” Franklin said. “That is kind of where that came from. I wanted to figure out how to take my contacts, my history and experience with business in this community and roll it into a way of working with women.”
With a vision for her new business venture, Franklin successfully began Summit Executive Cleaning in 2017, and it quickly became a reliable company for businesses as well as short-term rental owners spread out across the county.
One thing that immediately set Summit Executive Cleaning apart from other cleaning services was its partnership with Summit Executive Home Services, winner of Best Handyman Company in the 2024 Best of Summit contest.
Summit Executive Cleaning also has an in-house app that allows clients to access real-time photos and updates. Although in-house apps are common among many cleaning services today, they were a lot less prevalent back in 2017.
“That was something that we brought in that no one else was doing,” Franklin said. “I think that really helped our homeowners and property managers to have more controls on their properties. As we know, a lot of the people who own short-term rentals don’t live in the county. I think doing that really gave us a share of the market.”
With a robust list of clients and a caring staff, Summit Executive Cleaning has continued to flourish in Summit County providing a wide array of services like deep cleaning, trash removal, full-linen service, maintenance work and cleaning after move outs.
“I think it 100% comes down to our customer service,” Franklin said. “Our response time, our eagerness to do a good job and our eagerness to continue to improve. I think it is our personal relationships with our customers that set us apart.”
