Lottery opens for 14 deed-restricted homes near Frisco

The homes, which will be deed-restricted, will be built on a 2-acre site along Stellar Jay and Miner's Creek roads, with homes ranging from $270,000 to $490,000. Summit County officials opened applications this week for a new workforce housing neighborhood

Fourteen deed-restricted homes currently under construction near the town of Frisco are now on the market, with applicants set to be entered into a lottery to determine who will receive a unit. Officials expect the first home sales could be completed by October, while an existing unit currently under renovation will be available by 2026 or 2027, bringing the total number of homes to 15.



Dubbed Nellie’s Neighborhood, the development includes one- and two-bedroom detached homes located in the Bill’s Ranch neighborhood. The units range in price from $278,000 to $470,000 based on unit size. The renovated cabin is expected to sell for $490,000.

The units are restricted for county residents working at least 30 hours per week and making up to 150% of the area median income which translates to an annual income of $127,950 for an individual, according to 2024 figures. While the project is targeted at an income range between 95% and 150% of the area median income, those making below 95% are still eligible to apply.
