Louisville strip mall burns, 3 businesses damaged

LOUISVILLE ” No injuries are reported after a fire at a Louisville (LOO’-iss-vil) strip mall, but three businesses have suffered extensive damage.

Neighbors reported the fire just before 2 a.m. Monday when they smelled smoke.

At least 35 firefighters from Louisville, Lafayette, Boulder County and the Rocky Mountain fire departments responded to the blaze. Hot spots were still burning several hours later.

Louisville police say the strip mall houses an arts and crafts store, a chiropractic clinic and a coffee shop.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
