Loveland Ski Area welcomed skiers and riders back to the slopes for the start of the 2024-25 season on Saturday, Nov. 9,

Loveland began spinning chairs on Chet’s Dream at 8:30 a.m, providing nearly 1,000 vertical feet of skiing and riding with tree-to-tree coverage on a solid 18-inch base. Once at the top of Chet’s Dream, skiers and riders got the opportunity to explore Loveland’s opening day terrain package, which included the Cat Walk, Mambo and Home Run runs.

Seeing 8 inches of fresh snowfall from the most recent snow storm, guests were greeted with prime opening day conditions and fresh turns.

With the first day of the season now behind them, Loveland will now be open seven days a week. From Monday through Friday, the ski area will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On weekends and designated holidays, the ski area will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
