Loveland Ski Area tests snow guns ahead of 2023-24 season

On Tuesday, Sept. 19, Loveland Ski Area announced that the Loveland Trail Maintenance team had successfully conducted tests on all of its snow guns in preparation for the upcoming 2023-24 winter season.
The snowmaking teams hope to start making snow on Oct. 1 and anticipates a late-October to early November opening day. Last year, Loveland opened on Nov. 3.
