Lucy Kay and Mike Schilling: Quiznos Pro Challenge thanks supporters
Local Organizing Committee-Quiznos Pro Challenge
On behalf of the entire local organizing committee for the upcoming Quiznos Pro Challenge (QPC), we extend our gratitude to all town and county officials, Breckenridge Resort Chamber staff, volunteer groups – notably Summit Biking, local businesses, and so many others who have pitched in and helped propel Breckenridge and Summit County forward in hosting the final mountain stage of the QPC next August.
The QPC is expected to be as important and perhaps, even more iconic than the Coors Classic was in its day. We were proud to see Mayor John Warner sharing the stage and enthusiasm with Governor Ritter, Governor-elect Hickenlooper, mayors of other mountain towns, Shannon Sharpe and professional cyclists when the stage host communities were announced in Denver Nov. 4. We will work hard to leverage this event into a strong, long-term marketing asset for Breckenridge, Summit County and all of Colorado.
Again, thank you so much to everyone for sharing your passion and putting in the effort to help win this bid. Now the real work begins.
