One of Frisco’s hidden treasures is a small residential neighborhood that lies on the edge of Lake Dillon on the south side of town. Water Dance is a group of homes that enjoys excellent sun, walking and biking trails, and the nearby amenities of the peninsula recreation area, the marina and the Nordic center. Today’s featured residence also boasts a prime location here with a creek wrapped around two sides of the home. The five-bedroom, four-bath home at 543 Water Dance Drive is offered at $1,200,000. Tastefully finished, it also features views of Mount Royal, a three-car garage and a sunny corner lot.

The home sits well back from the street with a covered entry that beckons you inside. The front door opens into a slated area with a coat closet to the left. Also here is the access to the oversized garage and work area. A laundry features Maytag appliances and a utility sink, as well as additional refrigerator. To the right of the entrance is an office/library which also could be a bedroom. It has beautiful built-in bookcases, and shares a tiled bath with the living level.

A short flight of slated steps leads directly into the Great room. Tongue-and-groove cathedral ceilings draw the eye upwards. The living space is carpeted and centered by a substantial stone fireplace with raised hearth. On one side, a built-in media center hides the television. Throughout this area, massive peeled beam detail punctuates staircases and adds a mountain element.

The dining room has beautiful windows and mountain views. The wood flooring here also wraps into the kitchen, which is situated to the left. Natural wood cabinets are showcased by slab granite countertops in charcoal, sage and taupe. Appliances include a Dacor five-burner cooktop, double wall ovens and refrigerator from the Elite series, GE Profile microwave, and an Asko dishwasher. A built-in office area and breakfast room soak up the sun. French doors open onto a deck with stairs down to a patio and picnic table. From here, you can enjoy Mount Royal, as well as the meandering creek in the warmer months.

Stairs up from the main level lead to a bedroom suite with tiled bath on its own level, giving excellent privacy. Another handful of stairs reveals the master suite with a small office or spot for a quiet book just outside it. The suite enjoys some of the best views in the house, as well as interesting rooflines and a cozy, welcoming feel. The ensuite master bath has double sinks, an extra deep jetted tub, and a separate shower with bench and Euro-style glass doors.

Stairs down from the main level open into a spacious second gathering area. There is a wet bar with round sink, refrigerator and microwave. A media center here is a nice amenity. There is plenty of room for a workout area or game tables as well. Two bedrooms also lie on this level. One is large enough to hold three sets of bunk beds, with space for everyone.

Throughout the home, there has been careful attention to detail and planning for views of both the mountains and the creek. Outside, in warmer weather, the xeriscape landscaping translates to low maintenance with native plants and low water requirements. With excellent bedroom separation, an open, welcoming floor plan, and a central location with amenities in every season, this lovely home is waiting to welcome you.
