Lyle will head Copper ski patrol

Special to the Daily Hagen Lyle, new patrol director at Copper Mountain

COPPER MOUNTAIN – Copper officials announced the appointment of Hagen Lyle to ski patrol manager.

A nine-year member of the Copper ski patrol, Lyle held various positions within the department including route leader, blaster in charge and was a member of the patrol weather department. He also worked at Copper Creek Golf Club and in lift maintenance and lift operations.

“Along with experience, Hagen brings great energy, ideas and passion to the job,” said Mike Unruh, director of mountain operations for Copper. “We are confident he will continue the outstanding reputation that the Copper Mountain ski patrol department has become so well known for in the past.”

Lyle replaces Sam Parker, who was recently appointed as Intrawest Colorado’s Risk Manager for Copper and Winter Park resorts.
