Make A Difference Day looking for sites

Make A Difference Day 2004 is looking for sites for the annual volunteer event to be held Oct. 9. Make A Difference Day is a national day of giving back to communities held locally the second Saturday of each October. More than 400 volunteers mobilize to provide work at over 30 sites in Summit County. Volunteer service ranges from building and maintaining trails, to painting a building, to cleaning computers and classrooms.Make A Difference Day sites are local nonprofits, schools and government agencies/departments. The event is a great opportunity to complete organizational projects and even recruit new volunteers.As a project site, you provide supplies, tools and snacks and Make A Difference Day provides volunteers.
