Man arrested after jail dispute

BRECKENRIDGE – Scott Davidson was arrested Saturday in conjunction with an alleged assault on a sheriff’s officer after officers told him he could only make a second phone call on the jail’s collect-call pay phone.

According to Sheriff’s Office reports, Davidson first used the jail’s phone to call a friend and ask that friend to call Davidson’s girlfriend to let her know he was OK. When he got off the phone, reports said, he asked officers if he could make a second call, which they denied. Officers then asked him to use the dressing room and change into a jail uniform.

At that point, according to the reports, Davidson said, “I’m tired of being screwed; I’m going to start doing things my way.” The report says Davidson then began to remove all his clothing in the booking area, and when asked to pick the clothes up off the floor, he threw them at an officer. A Frisco Police officer said Davidson had defecated in his pants earlier that night.

Sheriff’s officers escorted the man into a holding cell.
