Man found dead in Breckenridge

SUMMIT COUNTY ” A local man was found dead on Monday evening inside his van parked at 165 Tiger Road.

The name of the 50-year-old is not being released pending notification of next of kin. Coroner Joanne Richardson said she is having trouble tracking down the man’s family.

She described him as a drifter who had lived in Summit County working odd jobs for about two years.

Foul play is not suspected in his death. An autopsy is scheduled today.

He was last seen alive at about 9 p.m. on Sunday. We he didn’t show up for work on Tuesday, friends became concerned and found his body inside his van, Richardson said.
