Man found in garage died from alcohol combination

SUMMIT COUNTY – The cause of death of a man who was found in cardiac arrest inside his Silverthorne garage with the vehicle running has been ruled accidental, said Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson on Sunday.Jose Alonse Moya, 24, died of a combination of carbon monoxide poisoning and alcohol, Richardson said.Moya’s blood alcohol level was more than .20 when he died, she added.Moya was found on Jan. 28 in his garage on Warren Avenue with the vehicle running. A man flagged down a Summit County ambulance, which transported Moya to the emergency room at the Summit Medical Center.
