PARKER ” A jewelry salesman from Kansas lost an estimated $300,000 worth of jewelry when he stopped for coffee at a Starbucks and was held up by three masked robbers.

Police say the salesman, who wasn’t named, stopped for coffee Monday and was just returning to his car when he was held up. The robbers took three “tubs” of jewelry and a briefcase containing the salesman’s handgun.

Parker police spokeswoman Elise Penington says the 64-year-old jewelry salesman was in town for a trade show. One of the robbers allegedly brandished a gun, but no one was injured in the robbery.
