DILLON VALLEY – A Silverthorne man is in fair condition after being stabbed multiple times in the stomach just before midnight on Saturday.

According to Summit County Sheriff’s Office reports, 29-year-old Sergio Lupercio was allegedly involved in an altercation with Norberto Rueda-Soto, 20, of Wildernest at a house on Straight Creek Drive. Paramedics took Lupercio to Summit Medical Center, then to St. Anthony’s Central in Denver for further treatment. Sheriff’s officers believe alcohol was a factor in the incident.

Rueda-Soto was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, a class 5 felony. His bond was set at $15,000.
