Manager reports major damage in Keystone condo

KEYSTONE – Sheriff’s officers are investigating a case in which a group of rowdy partiers trashed a storage room and condominium unit in a complex on Tennis Club Road late Wednesday night.

According to reports, the building manager contacted the Sheriff’s Office after she found the damage, which included furniture thrown through the exterior wall of the condo unit, feces smeared on the walls and floor and damage to a door.

The previous night, she said she heard a man ask, “Did you see the barstool going through the wall?” She knocked on the condo door to ask the man what he was talking about, and he said he was referring to an incident at the bar that night.

At that point, she saw several small holes in the wall and one large hole from the inside of the condo to the outside. Several pieces of furniture – including a bar stool – were lying outside below the hole.

Officers spoke to two men who live in the condo adjacent to the storage room, and both said they were at parties elsewhere in town and hadn’t heard anything when they got home. The man with whom the building manager had spoken was not available.
