Managing grief: class Thursday

A free class on handling grief will be offered by Lillie Lee, LCSW, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Tenmile Room at the Medical Office Building in Frisco (next to the hospital).

Loss is a normal part of life. Most people find it difficult to look at or feel emotions. It can be difficult or uncomfortable to talk about our losses. Stuffing grief can set us up for physical or mental health issues in the future. Healthy people do not suppress their pain and anguish from their losses. Normal grieving is to something known and something lost.
