March of Dimes

Bank of the West is once again participating in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica happening this Spring. It’s an opportunity to have fun and exercise with friends and family, while supporting the March of Dimes mission of ensuring that every baby is born healthy. In 2006, we raised more than $782,000 for the March of Dimes, which was a 51 percent increase over the previous year. We ranked as the number 11 corporate team nationwide. This year, we aim to make the roster of top 10 corporate teams and break the $1 million mark in contributions. In 2006, our Frisco/Silverthorne branch raised $1,693.38.In 2006, our Breckenridge branch raised $2,282.64.Our branches in Western Colorado raised a total of $32,774.99 for 2006.A host of fundraising activities are taking place leading up to WalkAmerica. Our signature Bank of the West bears are for sale for $5 at the branches and office locations. Plus, we have a limited edition cookbook created by a group of employees that is for sale for $10 with all proceeds benefiting the March of Dimes. And other activities are happening around the bank.
