Mark Campion: It’s about jobs

Mark CampionGolden

Re. by Mike Galvin, letters, June 14

Mike, my sincere condolences regarding the experiences you are having with Congress, and the plight you are having with the upcoming vote. The GOP is in it for wealth. Yours and mine, in my opinion. Shrinking the government as well.In my opinion, Mike, our system is to blame. The whole thing is polarized by self-interests, term limits and politicians seeking ways to increase their voter base at the voters’ cost.Take, for instance, Mr. Obama’s recent move to stop the deportation of some immigrants. He should be addressing his weaknesses in this economy, not out seeking votes for his upcoming struggle to retain his title. Our politicians built this system, and now they are wading in it like blowflies on hot chili. I don’t know what to tell you, Mr. Galvin. These politicians inherit risk, and they campaign for it. Congresses are inherited and moved about like chess pieces. The only thing Congress has passed in the last few decades is gas.
