Mark Fox: I’m no elitist

In response to Mr. Rodden’s letter, April 8, “Seniorized Yuppyville and the elites”: Since I live as close to the Peak One Parcel as anyone, I guess my 800 square-foot, 60-year-old log cabin ” which I bought 12 years ago, due in part to my lower-class underachieving, ordinary, hardworking, service providing salary ” makes me an elitist! Wow! I never knew! And since I am a card-carrying member of AARP, my little slice of Frisco can now be called “Seniorized Yuppyville for the Elites.” Cool!

So if anyone would like to come visitin’, feel free, but be careful not to trip over anything: We elites like to have lots of stuff layin’ around. And I just might have some PBRs!

Everyone needs to remember the immortal words of Sgt. Hulka: “Lighten up, Frances.”
